Patrick Conway, MD. Deputy Administrator for Innovation & Quality and CMO of CMS. In his role at CMS, Dr. Conway manages the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, which develops quality measures for all of CMS’ programs and clinical standards, and heads the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. He has held various healthcare leadership positions, including director of hospital medicine and assistant vice president of outcomes performance at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital from 2010 to 2011 and CMO of HHS from 2008 to 2010.
