Leah Binder. President and CEO of Leapfrog Group (Washington, D.C.). Under Ms. Binder’s leadership, The Leapfrog Group launched the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade to assess patient safety at hospitals across the country. Prior to joining The Leapfrog Group, she served as the vice president of Franklin Community Health Network in Farmington, Maine, for eight years and worked as a senior policy advisor for the Office of Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in New York City. Ms. Binder has held a seat on the Institute of Medicine Collaboration on Patient Engagement, the Health Care Financial Management Association Leadership Advisory Committee and the National Priorities Partnership Board, among other boards and councils.
