Elizabeth Sheridan, RN. COO of Inspira Medical Centers (Elmer and Vineland, N.J.). Ms. Sheridan has spent more than 15 years with Inspira Health Network, leading the implementation of several programs to benefit patient health, including a home food delivery program for patients with a high risk for readmissions. Throughout her career, Ms. Sheridan has also served as chief nursing executive for three Inspira facilities. In 2014, Ms. Sheridan was awarded the Humanitarian Award by The College of New Jersey for her public spiritedness and concern for human welfare. In the previous year, Inspira provided $80 million in community benefit to Cumberland and Salem counties, including charitable care and community programs. Ms. Sheridan also has a passion for developing the next generation of nurses, and she played a critical role in launching Inspira’s COACH Nurse Program, which organizes nurses to deliver food to the homes of the hospital’s most vulnerable patients who are at risk of readmissions.
