Kate Walsh. President and CEO of Boston Medical Center Health System. Ms. Walsh heads Boston Medical Center HealthSystem, which reports $2.8 billion in annual operating revenue. The health system encompasses 487-bed Boston Medical Center, the BMC HealthNet Plan and Boston HealthNet. Ms. Walsh is leading BMC’s efforts to integrate its adjacent campuses, streamline services and expand care facilities. In 2017, the medical center established the Grayken Center for Addiction Medicine with a $25 million gift as well as launched the Boston Accountable Care Organization. Previously, Ms. Walsh was executive vice president and COO of Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
