Joanne Schroeder, MSN, BSN. President and CEO of South Haven (Mich.) Health System. Ms. Schroeder has dedicated more than 30 years of her career to South Haven Health System, which includes a community hospital, emergency services, outpatient medical offices, specialty clinics, home care and a wellness and rehabilitation center. She first joined SouthHavenCommunityHospital as a member of its nursing staff in 1984 and later was promoted to vice president and COO of the hospital. After serving as interim CEO, the medical staff was impressed with her leadership and Ms. Schroeder was promoted to president and CEO in 2007. Ms. Schroeder holds a master’s degree in nursing from GrandValleyStateUniversity in Allendale, Mich.
