Phyllis Sherard, PhD. Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Population Health of Cheyenne (Wyo.) Regional Medical Center. Dr. Sherard works to position CheyenneRegionalMedicalCenter for success after healthcare reform and oversees the Wyoming Institute of Population Health. Her 2012 proposal to establish patient-centered medical homes across the state earned her an Innovation Advisor Fellowship from CMS. She now leads Wyoming’s $14.2 million initiative on transforming rural healthcare delivery with medical neighborhoods. Prior to Cheyenne Regional, Dr. Sherard served for 20 years with the Wyoming Department of Health, and was deputy director when she retired from public service.
