Annette Walker. President of Strategy, Providence St. Joseph Health; CEO of St. Joseph Health (Renton, Wash., and Irvine, Calif.). In her roles at Providence St. Joseph Health, Ms. Walker oversees all strategy, marketing, sales, outreach, business development and project management across the seven-state health system, formed after Providence Health & Services and St. Joseph Health joined together. She has led strategy, marketing, communications, philanthropy, wellness programs and project management at St. Joseph for more than a decade. She is also active on several boards, including the Institute for Mental Health and Wellness and USF School of Nursing and Health Professions. Ms. Walker has a master’s in health administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. This year, she was recognized by Orange County Business Journal as 2016 Innovator of the Year. She has also received the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development Banner Award and the California Hospital Association’s Ritz E. Herman Innovator Award.
