Beth Walker. COO of Ochsner Medical Center (New Orleans)Ms. Walker got her start at Ochsner in 2002 as an administrative fellow and has remained with the system ever since. She was manager of general internal medicine after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005 and later served as vice president of women’s and children’s services during the relocation of the department to a new $40 million pavilion at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center in New Orleans. Ms. Walker was named COO in 2013. She earned a master’s in health administration and management from Ohio State University in Columbus. Ms. Walker was named to Becker’s “25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40” list in 2015.
