Thomas Stover, MD. President and CEO of Akron (Ohio) General Health System. Prior to becoming president and CEO of Akron General Health System in 2012, Dr. Stover held several leadership positions within the hospital, which he joined in 1993. He was president of outpatient services, senior vice president of medical affairs and CMO from 2008 to 2010. He was also CMO of the system’s three Health & Wellness Centers and in 2006 was appointed president and CMO of Partners Physician Group, a system-owned group practice with more than 150 physicians. Dr. Stover received his MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and served as a major in the U.S. Air Force for two years.
