Mark Kilborn. CIO of Springhill Medical Center (Mobile, Ala.). Mr. Kilborn was appointed area vice president of Allscripts Professional Services and CIO of Springhill Medical Center in 2000. Under his leadership, Springhill became the first hospital in the state to achieve HIMSS Stage 7 Ambulatory Award — and it did so with an entirely outsourced IT department. Mr. Kilborn previously was the operations manager of Mobile (Ala.) Infirmary Medical Center.
