Fred C. Rothstein, MD. President of University Hospitals Case Medical Center (Cleveland). As president of University Hospitals Case Medical Center since 2003, Dr. Rothstein oversaw the additions of the UH Seidman Cancer Center and the Center for Emergency Medicine to UHCMC’s campus, among other accomplishments. His previous leadership positions include senior vice president of clinical integration and chair of University Hospitals Medical Group Board. He was also acting president and CEO of the system from 2002-2003, and was director of the department of pediatrics and senior vice president of medical affairs at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City before joining UHCMC in 1996. In August, Dr. Rothstein announced plans to retire as president at the end of 2015.
