Mercy Hospital Springfield (Mo.). Mercy Hospital Springfield’s 199,000-square-foot, four-story orthopedic facility includes eight operating rooms and 48 private inpatient beds. The hospital is currently expanding to open 12 operating rooms to accommodate increased volume. Walmart recognized Mercy Hospital Springfield as one of the premier orthopedic centers of excellence in the country and routinely sends employees to the hospital for orthopedic care. The hospital includes 19 surgeons and four nonoperative orthopedic physicians who focus on providing orthopedic and spine care to residents of Springfield and the surrounding communities.
