Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center (Houston). The Memorial Hermann Center for Advanced Orthopedics at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center is the 90,000-square-foot surgical home for patients of the Memorial Hermann Joint Center and Ironman Sports Medicine Institute at Memorial City. More than 4,100 orthopedic surgeries are performed at the center every year by the hospital’s 55 orthopedic surgeons, including around 1,500 knee and hip replacements. The 22,000-square-foot Ironman Sports Center has gained recognition for treating elite athletes and serves as the official medical provider for the Houston Rockets, University of Houston and Texas A&M University in College Station to provide care for elite athletes in the community.
