Lakeland Health's robust orthopedics profile includes a geriatric fracture program, which ensures fracture patients a surgery in 24 hours or less for better outcomes and shorter hospital stays. This Blue Distinction Center for total knee and hip replacement was also recognized in April 2017 during the 37th annual Telly Awards for its television outreach campaign that encouraged community members to not let joint pain get in the way of the activities they love.
