Keck Medical Center of USC (Los Angeles). Keck Medical Center of USC includes the 401-bed Keck Hospital of USC and the 60-bed USC Norris Cancer Hospital. The health system has a rich history of orthopedics with eight specialty centers, including the USC Joint Preservation and Replacement Center, where surgeons have performed more than 2,000 joint replacements over the past two years. Overall, Keck Medical Center’s 30 orthopedic surgeons complete more than 11,400 inpatient and outpatient surgeries per year and serve as the official medical providers for USC Trojan athletes. In 2017-18, the U.S. News & World Report ranked Keck Hospital of USC No. 24 in the nation for adult orthopedics and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association named the hospital a Blue Distinction Center for knee and hip replacements as well as spine surgery.
