Thomas Whalen, MD. CMO of Lehigh Valley (Pa.) Health Network. Lehigh Valley Health Network named Dr. Whalen CMO in May 2011 after he served as Valley Health Network’s department of surgery chair and associate chief medical officer of the network. Dr. Whalen is a pediatric surgeon and was a faculty member at New Brunswick, N.J.-based Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for 17 years. Dr. Whalen earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine.
