7 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Darrell K. Terry Sr. was named president and CEO of Newark (N.J.) Beth Israel Medical Center and Children's Hospital of New Jersey, also in Newark. 

2. Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America appointed Troy A. Villarreal, president and CEO of HCA's Medical City Dallas Hospital, president of HCA's Gulf Coast division, effective June 20.

3. George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., named Kimberly Russo CEO, effective June 3.

4. LRGHealthcare in Laconia, N.H., named Kevin W. Donovan president and CEO.

5. Jo Ann Birdzell, BSN, RN, CEO of St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, Ind., will retire, effective July 4.

6. Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Ind., picked Michael W. Schwebler as the organization's next president and CEO. 

7. Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services appointed Robert Iannaccone as the new CEO of Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, N.J.
