6 recent hospital and health system CNO, CMO moves

The following six hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced in the last month, starting with the most recent.

1. Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg named Jennifer Koepke, BSN, RN, as vice president of patient care services and CNO.

2. Johnny Veal, MSN, RN, was appointed CNO of George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

3. Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, N.C., named Gary Little, MD, as vice president and CMO of Charlotte-based Carolinas Medical Center.

4. Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Wash., named Christopher Hall, MD, as CMO, effective April 11.

5. University of Tennessee Medical Center's longtime CMO, Jack Lacey, MD, announced he plans to retire March 31.

6. After serving as interim CNO for six months, Tracy Galvin, MSN, RN, was named permanent CNO of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass.
