12 recent hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

The following 12 hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced in the last three weeks, starting with the most recent.

 

1. Michael Anderson, MD, the CMO of Cleveland-based University Hospitals, will leave his post to become president of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco.

2. Richmond-based HCA Virginia chose Crystal Farmer, MSN, BSN, to serve as CNO of Parham Doctors' Hospital in Richmond.

3. St. Joseph Mercy Livingston in Howell, Mich., appointed Sharon Blanche as CNO.

4. Danville (Va.) Regional Medical Center named Aundrea Mills as CNO after she served as interim CNO.

5. Kim Pettijohn, MSN, RN, was named as CNO of The Spine Hospital of Louisiana at The NeuroMedical Center in Baton Rouge.

6. OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton, Ill., tapped Dennis Sands, MD, to serve as vice president and CMO.

7. Brevard, N.C.-based Transylvania Regional Hospital, a subsidiary of Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health, named Michele Pilon as president and CNO.

8. Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital appointed Vi-Anne Antrum, RN, as CNO.

9. Rockville, Md.-based Indian Health Service named Mechele M. Peterson, MD, as CMO of the HIS Great Plains Area.

10. Jerry Douglas, MD, was selected to serve as CMO of Ukiah, Calif.-based MCHC Health Centers.

11. Reading, Pa.-based Penn State Health St. Joseph appointed Chris Newman, MD, as vice president of medical affairs and CMO.

12. Methodist Dallas Medical Center appointed Leslie Cler, MD, as CMO.
