Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital, a 197-bed facility, went live on Meditech’s EHR.

“One of the benefits we were looking for [with Meditech] was really to reduce the complexity … both from an IT perspective and from an end user clinician perspective,” said Beaufort Memorial Hospital President and CIO Ed Ricks. “We’ve removed barriers of communication, so everybody is looking at the same information and making informed clinical decisions at the point of service.”
