9 latest CFO moves in hospitals, health systems

The following hospital and health system CFO moves were reported by Becker’s Hospital Review since May 1.

1. Greg Gombar is retiring at the end of 2017 after serving Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System as CFO for nearly 32 years. 

2. Medical City McKinney (Texas) appointed Brad Stein CFO.

3. Stacey Woodruff was named CFO of Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Medical Partners.

4. Honolulu-based The Queen’s Health Systems appointed Michel Riccioni CFO.

5. La Porte (Ind.) Hospital and Starke Hospital in Knox, Ind., named Drew Keesbury CFO.

6. Patrick Reid was appointed CFO of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Agility Health.

7. San Francisco-based Dignity Health appointed Douglas Watson CFO of its Arizona service area.

8. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston appointed Ben Melson as senior vice president and CFO.  

9. Columbia-based University of Missouri Health Care CFO Brian Steines is leaving for a new role at Gainesville-based Northeast Georgia Health System.
