Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Steines is resigning to take on the role of CFO at Gainesville-based Northeast Georgia Health System.
2. He served as CFO of MU Health Care and MU School of Medicine since January 2015.
3. He previously served in leadership roles at a number of healthcare organizations, including Catholic Healthcare West, which is now known as Dignity Health, based in San Francisco.
4. At Northeast Georgia Health System, Mr. Steines will succeed Tony Herdener, who is retiring.
