Ascend Innovations (Dayton, Ohio). Dayton Children’s Hospital, Kettering Health Network, Premier Health and Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association teamed up in 2015 to establish Ascend Innovations. The joint venture — which partners with product design firm Kaleidoscope — conducts research to support product development in healthcare. Its mission is to transform ideas into marketable products and services with its team of business analysts, clinicians, data scientists, designers and engineers.
