Akron (Ohio) Children’s Hospital’s Center for Patient Experience Innovation.The Center for Patient Experience Innovation pilots projects to enhance positive healthcare experiences for patients and their families as they move throughout the care continuum. Housed within Akron Children’s Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute, the center also serves as a collaborative hub, bringing together staff from throughout the hospital to brainstorm and deploy approaches that will improve patients’ emotional wellbeing. The center is led by Stefan Agamanolis, PhD, senior director of patient experience.
