For the list, FlexJobs examined remote job listings from more than 50,000 companies in its database during the first half of the year through June 30. Researchers focused on available jobs for people who are based anywhere in the U.S.
UnitedHealth Group, which includes insurer United Healthcare and patient care division Optum, topped the list with the highest number of postings. Other healthcare companies on the list include Anthem (No. 3); pharmaceutical organization Syneos Health (No. 5); healthcare research company Abbott (No. 19); and healthcare revenue cycle management company nThrive (No. 25).
