Tryon Medical Partners said on its website that five of the locations will be in Charlotte, while the others are in Pineville, Matthews and Huntersville, N.C.
In July, Mecklenburg Medical Group dropped its lawsuit against Atrium Health. after the health system agreed to end employment agreements with the physicians Sept. 1.
Atrium told The Charlotte Observer that it has recruited physicians and remains “committed to meeting all of our patients’ healthcare needs.”
Tryon Medical said it expects to finalize contracts with insurers before Sept. 5, the day the practice begins seeing patients.
