San Diego-based Scripps Health is the highest-ranked healthcare employer on Fortune’s 2025 list of best workplaces for parents.
The health system placed No. 13 overall on “Fortune Best Workplaces for Parents 2025” list, developed in partnership with people analytics firm Great Place to Work.
The rankings are based on surveys collected over the past year from nearly 606,000 employees with parenting responsibilities who work at companies eligible for the list. Respondents rated their employers on factors such as well-being and personal development support, growth opportunities, compensation and whether they feel respected as individuals. Eligible companies must be Great Place to Work certified and have at least 50 responses from employees with parenting responsibilities.
Six healthcare organizations made the list of large employers, including two health systems.
