4 healthcare layoffs in June

The following healthcare layoffs were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in June. The list below begins with the most recent layoffs.

1. Ascension's St. Vincent Health lays off 85 employees
Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health, part of St. Louis-based Ascension, laid off 85 employees.

2. Mercy in Iowa cuts 43 jobs as part of living center consolidation
Mercy Medical Center-Clinton (Iowa) confirmed 43 job cuts as a result of the consolidation of its living centers, both in Clinton.

3. Mental Health Partners lays off about 17 employees
Mental Health Partners, a Boulder, Colo.-based addiction and mental health services provider, cut about 17 jobs, or about 3.5 percent of its nearly 500-person workforce.

4. Tennessee hospital to lay off 15% of staff
Oneida, Tenn.-based Big South Fork Medical Center revealed plans to lay off 20 employees, or about 15 percent of the hospital's 130-person workforce.
