UnitedHealth is transitioning operations at the facility to a digital platform. Many of the jobs were associate printer positions, according to a layoff notice by UnitedHealth.
“Employees at the facility will be offered severance and, in most cases, retention bonuses as we work through the transition,” said UnitedHealth spokesman Dimitri Senaratna. “We will also offer career outplacement services and help affected employees explore other opportunities at the company, as appropriate.”
