In addition to the systemwide layoffs, two system executives were also let go: Jon Rahman, MD, St. Vincent Health’s CMO, and Alan Snell, MD, the system’s chief medical informatics officer, according to another Indiana Business Journal report.
The layoffs cut St. Vincent Health’s labor budget by 5 percent, according to the report.
The system initially announced the workforce reduction in May. St. Vincent previously employed roughly 18,000 people.
