Nurses Picket Outside Olean General Hospital

About 100 members of the New York State Nurses Association held an informational picket outside Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital on June 19, according to an Olean Times Herald report.

The union members picketed over nurse-to-patient ratios, according to the report.

Olean General Hospital officials told the Olean Times Herald they are committed to reaching a fair contract agreement with the union. More than 220 of the hospital’s nurses are represented by the NYSA, according to the report.
