The lawsuit alleges Kaiser aided Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West during a union election competition between SEIU-UHW and NUHW.
“We have a scenario in which [Kaiser] has given aid and comfort to one union with whom it is friendly in its fight to stave off a second, rival union from seeking to represent the workers,” Judge William Alsup wrote, according to a NUHW news release.
The trial is scheduled for March 31.
