Duke Raleigh Hospital Lays Off 27 Employees

Duke Raleigh (N.C.) Hospital is laying off 27 employees, including 24 full-time workers, according to a Triangle Business Journal report.

The hospital gave affected employees a 60-day notice June 30, according to the report.

Duke Raleigh Hospital officials cited an expected drop in patient volume and revenue as the reason for the layoffs, the Triangle Business Journal reported.
