• Attracting and retaining experienced employees: 49 percent
• Transferring knowledge among employees: 31 percent
• None currently: 30 percent
• Attracting and retaining entry-level employees: 23 percent
• Appealing to multiple generations: 12 percent
• Managing changes in workforce size: 8 percent
• Obtaining support for talent management initiatives: 8 percent
• Obtaining support for screening initiatives: 8 percent
• Managing the extended workforce: 3 percent
• Managing large pool of potential retirees: 2 percent
Multiple responses were accepted. Data includes responses from 162 healthcare organizations.
