Zuckerberg: No ‘meaningful number of people’ have deleted Facebook

Though #DeleteFacebook hashtag has been trending on Twitter, Facebook cofounder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said it has not had a significant impact on users, according to CNBC.

Facebook recently came under fire after it was revealed that political consulting firm Cambridge Analytica misused the personal data of over 50 million Facebook users. The breach led many to call for people to delete their accounts.

“I don’t think we’ve seen a meaningful number of people act on that, but, you know, it’s not good,” Mr. Zuckerberg told The New York Times.
