ValleyCare Health System of Ohio to Begin $20M Expansion

Youngstown-based ValleyCare Health System of Ohio announced that it will soon break ground on a $20 million expansion and renovation project at its Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, according to a report by The Vindicator.

The project will include the addition of a 30,000-square-foot, three-story tower that will add 21 private exam and trauma rooms to the emergency department. Also, more than 28,000 square feet of the current hospital will be renovated.

 

The project is expected to be completed in 2014, according to the report.
