Burlington, Mass.-based Tufts Medicine has tapped Don Dizon, MD, as system chief of hematology-oncology for the cancer service line for Tufts Medicine.
Dr. Dizon has also been named the Jane F. Desforges, MD, Chair in Hematology and Oncology at Tufts University School of Medicine, according to a June 30 LinkedIn post from the university.
The American Society of Cancer Oncology honored Dr. Dizon with the Excellence in Equity Award at the organization’s annual meeting in May.
