The lawsuit claims Bumble is nearly identical to Tinder in its swipe-to-like format, and its founders were former Tinder employees who the lawsuit claims implemented features they “learned of and developed confidentially while at Tinder,” according to CNN Money.

Bumble was founded in 2014 as a more female-friendly alternative to Tinder by Tinder’s co-founder and former vice president of marketing Whitney Wolfe Herd, who left the company due to alleged sexual harassment and discrimination.
