Thomas N. Zweng, MD. Executive Vice President and CMO of Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.). Prior to becoming CMO of Novant Health, Dr. Zweng was senior vice president of medical affairs for the system for eight years. He was also chief of general surgery for Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., and was an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical School for five years, where he developed its laparoscopic general surgery program.
