James Adams, MD. CMO of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (Chicago). Dr. Adams joined Northwestern University in 2000 as a professor and chair of the department of emergency medicine, an appointment he still holds since being named CMO of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare in 2013. Prior to joining Northwestern, Dr. Adams was vice chair of the department of emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for five years and served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Mass. He also serves as the senior associate editor of the journal Academic Emergency Medicine.
