The 70,000-square-foot, 25-bed critical access hospital includes an emergency department, imaging 
services, surgery space, a pharmacy and physical therapy rooms.
Ground was broken on the replacement facility in January 2012, and the project is the product of a partnership with The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Ga.
Brasfield & Gorrie constructed the facility.
