The new facility will feature 368 individual patient rooms, an expanded Level 1 trauma center and a new emergency department that will be nearly three times the size of the current ED. The facility will also feature new surgical, diagnostic and treatment rooms.
The facility is being constructed adjacent to Stanford Hospital & Clinics main campus in Stanford, Calif., and is intended to replace the system’s current 1950s-era facilities.
