Adam Bussman was arrested in December after Mayo Clinic security were made aware of threats he posted on social media against the hospital and its employees. Police say Mr. Bussman posted a picture of himself with a replica AK47 gun, threatened the clinic and described his dissatisfaction with the treatment he received at the Rochester hospital while he was a patient there, according to the report.
He also allegedly posted a picture of his appointment sheet with a caption stating, “Intern hunting I go.”
Mr. Bussman is charged with two felony counts of threats of violence and one felony count of fifth-degree drug possession, according to the report. He had been released from police custody after posting bond, but has since failed to show up for a number of court dates.
