The 107-year-old health system said that the name change reflects the evolution of the health system from single hospital to a comprehensive health system that includes eight medical facilities and a physician network comprised of 57 doctors.
Additionally, Lake Health will open the new $155 million TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township, Ohio, which will feature state-of-the-art technology.
Lake Health remains an independent, not-for-profit charitable organization, according to the release.
