Michigan hospital names CEO

Robert Mach was appointed CEO of Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique, Mich., effective Aug. 15.

Mr. Mach brings a wealth of experience to the role, most recently serving as CEO of Arbor Health in Morton, Wash., according to a hospital news release.

He will replace Andy Bertapelle, MSN, RN, who stepped down in April to take a new role in Washington state.

Kent LaCroix, who was appointed interim CEO of Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital, will remain with the organization when Mr. Mach begins in August, according to the release.

Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital is an independent, 12-bed critical access hospital.
