Michigan hospital names interim CEO

Kent LaCroix was appointed interim CEO of Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique, Mich.

Mr. LaCroix, who currently serves as the hospital’s chief information and ancillary officer, has been with the organization for nearly two decades, according to an April 8 hospital news release.

His appointment follows the departure of Andy Bertapelle, MSN, RN, who stepped down as CEO to take a new role in Washington state.

SMH is an independent, 12-bed critical access hospital.
