The new tower and patient care units will provide more specialized services for inpatients and offer upgraded amenities to patients and their families, according to the hospital.

Methodist Charlton has leased space within its original patient tower to Odyssey Hospital, an inpatient hospice provider, and Select Specialty Hospital, an inpatient long-term acute care provider. The move is intended to make access to post-acute care services more convenient for the hospital’s patients.
