Mercer University, Georgia Hospitals Partner to Establish Third Medical School Campus

Mercer University in Atlanta, has announced a partnership with The Medical Center, part of Columbus Regional Healthcare System, and St. Francis Hospital, both located in Columbus, Ga., to establish a Columbus campus for The Mercer School of Medicine, according to a Mercer news release.

Under terms of the partnership, Mercer will place up to 80 third- and fourth-year medical students at the Columbus Campus.

Mercer’s other two medical campuses are located at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., and the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Ga.
