Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Missouri Officially Joins Mercy

Chesterfield, Mo.-based health system Mercy announced Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Festus, Mo., has agreed to be acquired in a unanimous vote by the board of directors, effective Feb. 1.

The 251-bed hospital is now Mercy’s 32nd hospital across the system’s four-state operating area.

The deal was initially announced this past August. Mercy has committed to make capital investments at Jefferson Regional, and the health system will also establish a non-profit foundation to support healthcare and social needs in the community.
