HCA South Carolina hospital CEO to exit for new role

Jimmy Hiott, CEO of Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, S.C., will step down at the end of April to assume a new role within Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Mr. Hiott has spent more than 25 years with Colleton Medical Center, including eight years as CEO and previous service as CFO, according to an April 1 hospital news release. 

He will become market director of physician services for the Myrtle Beach, S.C., community, part of HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic division.

Colleton Medical Center is a 135-bed facility offering inpatient and outpatient services.
